Jacob & Britt
Looking forward to Saturday, what a privilege to be a part of this wedding! It's refreshing to have a couple so excited to be getting married. The norm now seems to be, get everything in order first; have a great career, buy your house, live together .... I love it when a couple chooses the road less traveled. It gets me excited about the wedding too. NJT

Growing Boys
I must share the newest photos of the boys as they grow. Fynn 7, Grey 5, Valin 3 and Bohdi almost 1.
I couldn't decide for Bohdi so he got 3. NJT

A's July 4th art project
I was lucky to be visiting in the states on the 4th this year. We woke up to a beautiful sunny summer day. Yahoo! We are out on the deck enjoying the sunshine when out comes the spray paint. D and I look at each other and wonder what is going on. Here is a little photo review of the transformation of a humble white umbrella. NJT

Remembering Ava
It was 10 years ago today that I became a Grandma!
I will always remember the night my sweet girl gave birth for the first time. It started in the middle of the night and progressed faster than any of us anticipated. She sat on a chair her arms around her husbands strong shoulders and got to business. The contractions came hard and fast and I remember her saying "where are the breaks!" That was when she got in the birthing tub and shortly after our little angel, Ava came into this world. Born into her mama's hands and laid there on her chest. What a night that was. It changed all of our lives forever. In just a few short weeks I began to know a kind of love I had never experienced, the love that a Grandma has for her grandchild. Oh how sweet it is!
I am ever grateful that I have photos of Ava's all too short but amazing life.

I think of Ava and part of me wishes she was still here so we could celebrate her being 10 today but God had a bigger plan for her life and for all of us that remember her today. I am grateful for the 4 years that she was here with us and will forever be changed by her life. Thank you Dave and Amanda for the way that you loved her and for letting me be a part of that. Mom
