A Day at Grandma's

I love, love having the kids come here and hang out for the day! Today was especially nice because it was warm enough to get outside. And bonus my parents stopped by. Just to add to all that I got photos of the boys. All round great day.  NJT

Here are the latest photos of my daughters boys. This was back when we still had sun! A beautiful day  at the corn maze. Working on these makes me want to see them. I think it is time for a visit!     NJT

Isabell's 10th birthday

So this is what 10 looks like. I know I have been here before but not as a Grama! She was so tiny when she was born and now growing into such an amazing human being. Bell came to me a couple of months ago with an old hand me down sewing pattern, size 3, and said "Grama can you make this for me for my birthday?" So, off we went to the fabric store and together picked out the fabric. She has very good instincts and we had no trouble agreeing on her choice. I asked if she would like her sister to have one too and here is the finished product. They really like them and so do I. The girls can be talked into photos with out much trouble. I am so glad!   NJT

So a bit of a surprise to find a bike rally going on but a good one we had fun. Now a bit of a change. Tomorrow Bob starts his ride. We are all signed in and resting before dinner. The weather looks good too. Till next time.  NJT

Looking forward to Saturday, what a privilege  to be a part of this wedding! It's refreshing to have a couple so excited to be getting married. The norm now seems to be, get everything in order first; have a great career, buy your house, live together ....  I love it when a couple chooses the road less traveled. It gets me excited about the wedding too.  NJT

A's July 4th art project

I was lucky to be visiting in the states on the 4th this year. We woke up to a beautiful sunny summer day. Yahoo! We are out on the deck enjoying the sunshine when out comes the spray paint.
